Wausau Coated Products Inc., a manufacturer of adhesive-based label products, has announced the promotions of Adam Frey and Gretchen Kray. Frey will serve as the business manager of roll sales, and Kray has been tabbed the business manager of distribution products.  

Frey has excelled in sales, product management and commercial marketing roles, and he will be taking a leadership role within the sales and marketing team. He will have commercial responsibility for the company’s roll pressure sensitive and flexible packaging product palette and direct customer relationships across North America. He will also manage Wausau Coated’s roll direct sales team in North America.

“I am excited to have Adam in this new role,” says Jim Sheibley, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Wausau Coated.  “As our business grows and enters new segments, Adam’s leadership and experience will allow Wausau Coated to focus on our core roll pressure sensitive customers.”

Meanwhile, Kray has had an extensive career with Wausau Coated with roles in technical, purchasing, and sales that support her expertise in this new role.  She will be responsible for the sheet product mix and merchant relationships across North America and will manage the distribution sales team.
